The Government of Kenya has urged all the parties to remain calm amidst an impeachment vote for president Donald Trump in the United States.
The Kenyan ambassador to the US urged all Americans to stay calm, promising that the African Union is ready to send a delegation to help negotiate any matters that arise after the impeachment. He warned that any parties that try to take advantage of the situation would face the full wrath of Kenya.
He added, “We hope that Americans will observe the rule of the law and maintain their fidelity to the constitution, even in the midst of the current political crisis. Kenya remains a strong partner to the United States and we cannot sit and watch as the stable country headed by a stable genius collapses.”
