The African Union has issued a warning to both the US and Iran, even as the world was being pushed to a possible Third World War.
Speaking at the AU headquarters in Addis Ababa, the AU secretary general warned that the current war of memes that broke out after the killing of General Qassem Soleimani, the head of Iran’s elite Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ (IRGC’s) Quds Force, was not acceptable.
He urged for calm from both sides, warning that the African Union will do all that is necessary to ensure peace prevails.
He further admitted that the memes were entertaining.
