The President of Tanzania Dr John Pombe Magufuli has warned medics against overdiluting the effective Madagascar cure during administration, an act that could render it ineffective against Covid-19.
Speaking during one of his regular visits to a lab where he spends 55 hours a week working on his private research projects, Dr Magufuli said that users need to understand that chemistry involves some very precise values and all the countries that are relying on the Madagascar cure need to be very precise. “If you miss the dilution by 0.000000001 ml, it is not going to work. People need to understand this.”
The good doctor also stated that he is currently working on the exact dosage that should be used to administer the cure, saying that the existing guidelines were just a suggestion and he will be in a position to come up with a conclusive guideline before the end of the year. In the meanwhile, trial and error will continue to guide the usage until his lab and the ones in Madagascar can come up with the dosage.
Although the Madagascar cure was said to be 100% effective, Madagascar has already reported some fatalities and no one knows whether it could be due to over or under diluting the cure.
