In a big twist that has left political analysts and pundits shocked to the core, Kalonzo retired from politics to become a prophet. This is after he prophesied that Deputy President William Ruto will be Official Opposition Leader after the forthcoming 2022 general elections.
During an interview with Citizen TV’s Waihiga Mwaura, Kalonzo promised to manifest himself and let his beards grow as a proof of his prophetness. Kalonzo has long been ridiculed by the beard gang for being the official leader of the beardless literally. Pun not intended.
Over the years, Kalonzo has barely survived in the polittcal arena and lived off it only by threatening to vie for the presidency. He has been placed in the same category with Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula.
Kalonzo faulted the recently concluded Msambweni by election where Feisal Badar Independent candidate backed by William Ruto trumped over ODM flagbearer Omar Boga. Kalonzo questioned the logic of whether an Indepedent candidate supported by a political party still remains an independent candidate.
He said he does understand the act of Ruto backing an independent candidate but fully understands when Uhuru backs an ODM candidate.
Opposition
Veteran Prophets like the bearded David Owour are up to arms claiming Kalonzo is a con and cannot perform any miracles.
Speaking to PostaMate over a telephone call, Pastor Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism center welcomed Kalonzo into the prophecy and asked him to consider ministering with Neno. Pastor Ng’ang’a also offered to ordain him.
Many Kenyans are eager to see bearded Musyoka. This will be the first from his region. A prophet, who only threatens. If his prophecy of William Ruto comes trues come 2022, he will be a force to reckon to. He has 2yrs to work his magic.
