Mutahi Kagwe Wins the African Meme Challenge

The Kenyan Health Cabinet Secretary Sen. Mutahi Kagwe has been in the news since Covid-19 appeared in the country. While the position of a Health CS is a boring one that only makes news when talking about jigger eradication, the current CS has completely changed that and even won a Pan African award.

The abnormally quite man is now receiving accolades from all over the world both for his work at the Ministry of Health and for his work away from work. The latest being an award for his side effects from work.

During the recently concluded African Meme Challenge that was held in Cairo, Mutahi Kagwe emerged the winner, beating established veterans such as Jacob Zuma and Uhuru Kenyatta.

Kagwe was commended for making memes that say more than his Press briefings, and recognized for scaring Kenyans into acting abnormally in order to prevent Covid-19 from acting normally.

The award which comes with a cash reward of 65 million shillings will help facilitate buying of two sausages for each staff at the Ministry of Health, among other things.

The CS will now join other contestants from the world for the Lord of the Memes Awards which will be held in Geneva on 26th June 2020. From the look of things, Kagwe has already won.
